Selinsgrove
I'm at Diane's house this week. I was going to tell you about some observations from my walk, but I have other things to talk about first. When I got here I could smell Penny, but not find her. Joe was gone. Katie gave me some pills in cream cheese, just like Joe does, but after I coughed them up once she's been putting them in my mouth instead. Her bed takes up half the room we sleep in, and the door is shut. Not that I ever leave at home, but I got used to the door be open and I like it that way.
Something happened to my foot. Katie and Diane took me to a vet. It wasn't my vet, but it was okay. Ever since Katie has been putting stuff on my foot. I don't want people touching my feet. I have to admit, it's been feeling better.
I've been hanging out with Diane. She often gives me food and takes me for a walk in the morning.
Penny came back the other day, and that's been good because we play together all day long. But, she keeps hanging out with Diane too and now there are three of us, counting Anton, vieing for her attention.

Got Sick
I was sick all last week. It was not fun. One day I got a shot and could hardly stand up. Then I got pills that left me groggy. I kept coughing up stuff, and it that left me achy. Joe made me stay in the basement bathroom. He came and visited me at lunch time, and I'd get excited and that made me cough more. At least that bathroom is bigger than the upstairs bathroom. Katie and Anton were gone all week. Joe and I thought we could sleep through the night without interruption, but then I'd cough and cough and it would wake me up, and then Joe would get up too.
I have to take pills and Joe gave me some new stuff to eat with them. It's called hummus. He put it in my dog food too and I ate the food even though I didn't want to, because I wanted to eat the hummus.
Katie and her mom came a few days ago and took me to Pennsylvania. Anton is here, but Penny isn't. I looked for her, but I don't know where she is. Diane says she's at "doggy camp." I hope it's as nice as Dog-Ma.
I still have to take pills. I hope it stops soon.

Here Today, Gone This Afternoon
Katie gave me a new toy. It was a fuzzy ball with a small ball attached, and three ropes like a rope toy. The ball was odd, because it had no center. You put it in your mouth and your teeth just sunk right in to it. I pulled the whole thing apart in no time. I was interrupted when I noticed that Anton was in his bouncy seat, and the bouncy seat was in the floor in the kitchen. Near my bowls. I wondered if they were planning to feed him from my bowls. It appeared not, so I went back to my toy. It was all over the dining room. You could still throw the little ball around though. The green threads that were the first ball would stick to my mouth and dangle out like slobber. When I went for my walk and came back, they were all gone.

Batteries not included
The swing seat reappeared again. It is swinging by itself. It sounds sick. It's very odd. It moves by itself, but isn't alive. It makes a Guhrrr-duh-duh Guhrr-duh-duh noise. If Katie pushes on the blue button then it makes other noise and flashes lights. Apparently, they're going to put Anton in it later. Better him than me.
There was another thing making noise too. It lit up and made wooshing noises.
What's worse is before doing all of this, she brought the vacuum up here. I'm sure she'll use it soon.
Even Anton's making wooh-wooh noises while he's breathing. He'll move and they'll stop, and then they'll start again.

Cemetery Visit and Other News
Diane (Katie's mom) came back to see us. Anton needs to get his own people friends. It's okay for my friends to visit him, but really he needs to understand they come to see me.
Katie, Diane, Anton and I went to the cemetery. They put Anton in a little cart. I introduced some of my friends to him. Some of their owners were pretty uptight and wouldn't let them come over. Katie needed to relax too. When we left, there were a lot of cars. Katie took me to one side of the street and Diane took Anton to the other side. It's hard to be a guard dog when everyone splits up. I was really unhappy that I couldn't see Anton when the cars went by. When they finished and Katie let me walk again I hurried over to check on him, and luckily he was okay.
It's been a few days since Diane left.
This morning, Joe finally let me give Anton a good bath. People have funny ideas about hygiene. I don't think they bathe Anton nearly enough and if they don't want to do it, then I don't see why they won't let me.
