Weekend Update

1. Diane came to visit me. She spent a lot of time with Anton too.
   
2. I was -><- close to getting a cat. It was more or less cornered and if Katie hadn't pulled on the leash, I would have had it. It was orange and young and sitting on the steps to my house. Two steps up. I looked it in the eyes and went for it. It went for the railing instead of up the stairs.
3. More visitors on Sunday. Including a little girl that fed me from the table. That was great. Eggs, fruit. I ate it all.
   

It's Alive
Anton and I played a game the other day. We haven't since, but at least he's getting more interesting. I lick him, he pushes back and smiles, I lick him, he pushes back and smiles. Sometimes the simple things are the best.

Happy New Year
Sure, it's a bit late, but it's not my holiday. Here are a few notes to bring everyone up to speed.

• We've had fire. I like fires. I like to sit in front of the fireplace and watch the flames. We haven't had fire in a while.
• I went on a vacation to a new place. There were a couple of other dogs to play with in my area, and lots of other dogs around. We played and played. I lost my collar, which was kind of cool at first. When we went to the place, there was some contraption called a "seat belt" that Katie tried to put me in. I didn't like it. I wasn't sure I liked her leaving with Anton, either, but it was okay.
  
• All my toys keep getting put in a basket. It's kind of weird
