It's not easy being green...
We went to Rhode Island for Christmas. It was a long drive, but that was okay. It took a little time to remember where I was, but Joe's parents are great. Five days of constant companionship, and I could run around without a leash. At least for a while.
On Christmas eve, Joe's neices and nephew came. They ran around the house with me, and we played puppy games even if you can't gnaw on people. They screamed, I barked, life was good. Then Joe started playing with them, and not with me. That made me mad. I barked. He didn't play with me. He played with his neices. I tried to get his attention. The neices didn't play with me, nobody did. I'm not sure who they think they are, they can't just show up for a few hours and usurp my place in the herd. I wasn't born yesterday, and I have everyone nicely trained. Obviously, no time could be wasted, and I made sure to show them where they stand in this pack.
