Kids! I don't know what's wrong with these kids today.
Yesterday, on the way home from the park, we passed the school again. D. was very busy telling me what a stand up guy I am and telling other kids not to run. Nothing to unusual. Some odd busses went buy. Some kids started beating on each other. I barked at them. Katie insisted that this was there way of playing, even though one looked like he going to cry for a moment after he hit the ground and the other one landed on him. Katie said we should keep going and then D's other friend showed up and we hung out. Katie told me to come up, so I did, and D came over and pet me and looked all impressed. I think he told me to try to come up to, but he wasn't very convincing and it was all rather confusing, so I didn't bother. In the mean time a third kid came up behind D's friend and wrapped his arms around him. The friend looked so surprised. I barked. The kid looked surprised. I barked again. It looked like he didn't know what to do and the silly creature was going to step forward, so I barked again and that put an end to that. Right then he had the biggest eyeballs I've ever seen on a person, so I know he took me seriously. Then we had to go in the house, and I ate breakfast.
