Anton

Anton is a people-puppy. They call them babies. He lives in the room with the purple carpet. My carpet. Except, now I'm not always allowed in there. Most the time though. It's okay. Babies wake up a lot in the middle of the night. Katie has bumped into me a few times to go get him. She says it's because I changed how I'm sleeping and she hadn't gotten used to it yet. She used to get up in the middle of the night and not bump into me, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I used to follow her, but it's just not that interesting at 3 in the morning. In the day time, I hang out with her and the baby, or Joe and the baby, if he has him.

At first, I didn't get to sniff Anton very much, or lick him. I don't know how you're supposed to get to know somebody new if you don't get to lick them. Now I've licked him a lot, so I just give him a sniff and move on. People get pretty uptight about his face though. I think it needs a good slurping.

Anton has a crate, in the purple carpet room. It's much bigger than my crate. He hasn't figured out how to get them to get rid of his crate yet. Mine is in the backyard, under the porch. I'm sure the carpet is a much better place to sleep.
