Retreat
They left the basement door open again. Thank goodness. Anton is crying, and I've had enough. I'm laying on the futon and thought I'd catch up. Anton and Katie were gone for a while, and I went to Dog-Ma during the day. I like Dog-Ma, because there are dogs to play with all day.
Yesterday, Katie had a stuffed thing she was waving at Anton. Anton wasn't using it, so I thought I would. "No, Anton's toy," she kept telling me. Then she went and got one of my toys. "Grady's toy," she said and waved it at me. Well, no kidding it's my toy. I want the new one. This morning she had a box full of stuffed toys that I wasn't supposed to look at. It's not like Anton's using it. That's okay though, because I found a nifty rubber duckie on a shelf. Of course, then that got taken away as well.
You might think this was a bad day, but except that I would like the crying to stop it is not. Joe took me to the cemetery for two very long trips today (I had a long trip yesterday as well), and guess who was there? Kahulan! We saw each other across the lawn and "Charge!" it was just like old times.
